Vision diagnostics for children - autorefractometer

A new vision diagnostic device for an ophthalmologist's office - an auto-refractometer - for easy, convenient and fast vision testing for infants and children! The auto-refractometer allows to measure refraction of children of any age (including new-born babies). A visit to the doctor is without fear and stress!

The auto-refractometer :

determines refraction, pupil diameter, interpupillary distance, etc. inspections;
evaluates the accuracy of the result of the prescription of glasses;
performs tests of hyperopia, myopia, astigmatism and anisometropia.

The procedure for testing vision using infrared light is completely safe and not harmful to health.

With the autorefractometer, vision testing is easy, convenient and fast!

2003 - present, P. Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital, Clinic of Ophthalmology, ophthalmologist
Consultations in hospital departments (endocrinology, neurology, neurosurgery)
On-call work, acute patient examinations, treatment (both conservative and surgical), consultations;
From 2014 - currently Eye Health Center, ophthalmologist, laser ophthalmologist
I performed all types of retinal laser photocoagulation (retinal rupture blocking, treatment of macular problems with subliminal laser therapy, panretinal LFK, focal LFK in various retinal diseases) and intravitreal injections, combining therapies if necessary.

Consults and treats:

Examination of scheduled and acute patients, diagnosis of diseases (including OCT), development and implementation of a treatment plan;
Accepts patients with various chronic eye pathologies (glaucoma, cataracts, retinal dystrophy, uveitis, etc.) as well as acute (foreign body in the cornea or conjunctiva, conjunctivitis, keratitis, erosions, eye trauma, postoperative patients, etc.);
Vitreoretinal diseases (diabetic retinopathy, retinal and macular diseases).

Performs the necessary examinations to establish the diagnosis and prescribe adequate therapy:

Visual acuity test with / without correction (distance and proximity)
Preventive eye examinations
Color vision test
Intraocular pressure measurement
Determination of fields of vision
Gonioscopy
Biomicroscopy, retinal examination
Fundus oculi photography
OCT for the back segment
OCT for the front segment

Diagnosis of eye diseases

Consults every second week on Satudrays.
