Niptify, a non-invasive prenatal screening test
NIPTIFY – Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening Test (NIPT) for Pregnant Women
NIPTIFY is a precise and safe test that analyzes the baby’s genes and chromosomes. All that is required is a maternal blood sample.
NIPTIFY is a screening test that assesses the risk level (low or high) for the most common and severe fetal chromosomal disorders.
NIPTIFY Detects:
1. Five major chromosomal disorders with over 99.9% accuracy, as well as a complete fetal genome analysis:
Down syndrome (Trisomy 21)
Edwards syndrome (Trisomy 18)
Patau syndrome (Trisomy 13)
Turner syndrome (Monosomy X)
DiGeorge syndrome (22q11.2 deletion syndrome)
Additionally, NIPTIFY determines:
2. Fetal gender with 100% accuracy.
This comprehensive fetal genome analysis, which can detect potential abnormalities in other regions and report them as incidental findings, including:
- Clinically significant microdeletions and microduplications
- Sex chromosome aneuploidies
- Autosomal trisomies (excluding chromosomes 13, 18, and 21)
- Monosomy of all autosomes
- Partial changes in DNA copy number (more than 30 million DNA base pairs) in chromosomes 13, 18, 21, and X
A full list of genetic anomalies analyzed by the test can be found on the NIPTIFY website.
When Can the NIPTIFY Test Be Done?
The NIPTIFY test can be performed from week 10 of pregnancy until the end of pregnancy. The recommended testing period is between 10–13 weeks, allowing early detection of screening results. Before taking a blood sample, a gynecologist or midwife must confirm a singleton pregnancy, check fetal size, and ensure fetal heartbeat.
Testing Process:
A blood sample can be taken from week 10 until the end of pregnancy.
NIPTIFY is suitable for all singleton pregnancies, including:
Naturally conceived pregnancies
Pregnancies achieved through in vitro fertilization (IVF)
Pregnancies using donor eggs through IVF
Before providing a blood sample, an ultrasound examination is recommended to assess fetal health.
The test requires one vial of venous blood. Eating and drinking before the test is allowed as usual.
Exceptions for NIPTIFY Testing:
🚫 NIPTIFY cannot be performed in multiple pregnancies.
🚫 NIPTIFY is not suitable for patients with malignant tumors during pregnancy.
The need to repeat the NIPTIFY test is close to zero.
