Podometry
Podometry is a digital examination method, which allows to assess the load on the feet, movement pathologies of the feet. Diagnostics is performed not only in statics, but also in dynamics based on patient data (weight, height, foot size). The data are analysed by evaluating the load on patient''s foot during the support phase of the walk (computer selects average data by evaluating several steps). The method enables electronic storage of patient data and, consequently, the comparison of the current data with previous examinations during the therapy.
