During the consultation, the anesthesiologist-resuscitator gets acquainted with the extent of the patient's intended manipulation or operation, the severity of the disease, the history of the disease, the patient's health, the results of examinations and analyzes, the patient's physiological characteristics, habits and the type of planned operation or medical manipulation. The doctor will decide whether anesthesia is possible and acceptable for each patient individually. The possible risks of anesthesia are also evaluated, the appropriate and acceptable type of anesthesia for each person is selected, and the patient's anesthesia plan is developed. The anesthesiologist discusses the relevant issues with the patient and other professionals.
During operations and other medical manipulations, the anesthesiologist-resuscitator provides anesthesia or anesthesia, as well as the maintenance of the patient's life processes, monitoring and analgesia after anesthesia. Before anesthesia, the anesthesiologist will talk to the patient and explain how to control the pain after the operation.
