Clinical Supervisor of the Schroth Method in Latvia – Vita Vītiņa!

We are proud of Vita Vītiņa and her professional contribution to improving patients’ health, as well as her continuous desire to develop, expand her knowledge, and implement modern treatment methods in practice.

Vita Vītiņa is a highly qualified specialist with many years of experience in physiotherapy.

In 2007, she graduated from Rīga Stradiņš University, obtaining a professional Bachelor’s degree in Health Care with a qualification in Physiotherapy, and in 2012 she earned a Master’s degree in Health Sciences. In both her Bachelor’s and Master’s theses, Vita focused on lower back pain and its relationship with the deep muscular system. 📃

While working in outpatient care, Vita increasingly encountered patients who required specific scoliosis therapy. Seeing that patients had to seek such treatment in other cities, she became certified in the Schroth Method in 2023. In 2024 and 2025, Vita organized Schroth Method workshops in Jelgava, promoting both her own and her colleagues’ professional development and enhancing clinical skills in working with patients. ✅

In her daily work with scoliosis patients, Vita finds the greatest satisfaction in patient progress and feedback:

“My back hurts less, and my muscle strength and endurance have improved!”

“Finally, I feel how my posture is straightening!

We are proud and truly pleased that patients at Zemgale Health Center have the opportunity to receive this unique therapy, based on a scientifically grounded approach to scoliosis treatment. The Schroth Method not only helps reduce pain but also improves posture, breathing, and overall quality of life.
